I start investing in series by trailers, by reading about them on ANN, and lately by fansubs. And I do support the series when they come to the States, by buying the official releases. I think a lot of people do. They just like to blow the fansub thing into a larger proportion than what it actually is. If anything, I think fansubs increase awareness of certain series, and give people a chance to try a series to see if they like it. It's how I fell in love with Haruhi Suzumiya, and look at me now.

I started watching Asu no Yoichi, but it's kinda been put on hold again. I watched Mobile Suit Gundam (0079) while I was building my Gundam Mk. II model, and I'm gonna go through the run again
