In the latest episode of The Adventures of the ASOS Brigade, it was revealed that Bang Zoom! will be handling the English Dub for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It was also revealed in this episode who the main cast will be. Haruhi Suzumiya - Wendee Lee Mikuru Asahina - Stephanie Sheh Yuki Nagato - Michelle Ruff Kyon - Crispin Freeman Itsuki Koizumi - Johnny Yong Bosch Ryouko Asakura - Bridget Hoffman Tsuruya-san - Kari Wahlgren I'm not sure if I'm quite happy with Wendee Lee as the choice for Haruhi, but I'm sure she'll do an excellent job as always.

I really like Wendee and being as I'm not familiar w/ this one, I can make no judgements.
 But oooh! Crispin and Johnny! *fangirl squee!* :lol: |

I heard some of the dub on the latest edition of Anime TV from Bang Zoom!, hosted by Johnny Yong Bosch. I think I may have been wrong about Wendee as Haruhi. She sounds pretty good as the Ultra Chief.
 And I think that Stephanie Sheh is absolutely perfect as Asahina. The jury is still out on Johnny as Itsuki, but of course Crispin is spot on with Kyon.  Haven't heard enough of Yuki to see if Michelle Ruff plays her well enough. There are so many actresses out there that can play a monotone character. |
