I just got back from Barnes and Noble after using most of my gift card. I got Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 1 and .hack// AI Buster. I would have got the 2nd volume of Jojo but I wanted to make sure I like it.  Edit: Also got Death Note 3 few days later |

I just got back from Borders! I was supposed to be there getting my friend a b-day present, but you see, I have a girf card from Christmas for there, and there was a "Buy 3, get the 4th free" sale. So I got her a manga, "Kingdom hearts vol 2" and I got my self "kingdom hearts" vol 1 and 2, and I got "full metal alchemist" vol 1. I must be the worst person in the world! I go to a store to buy my friend a gift, only to get myself more then her!!! But that isn't the worst. I still had $14.00 on my card, and I thought, well, that is almost enough to buy another 2 mangas! But why buy 2, when I could buy 3, and get another one for free? .......... So I bought myself 4 more mangas. *bows head in shame* I got "fruits basket" vol 1, 2, and 3, the I got "Suikoden III" vol 1.... I am so ashamed of myself..... |

I just picked up the first volume of the Rurouni Kenshin Manga. By the time I'm finished, I'll have everything related to Kenshin in my collection.  Rommie

Are you buying the ones put out by shonen jump? They are everywhere here! If you go to Borders, then you can easily have them order it for you withought extra charge. They only cost $7.95!.... gatta love shonen jump mangas... So yeah, If you know where a Borders is, just ask them to order it for you. I know that here, in Oregon, the Borders in Clackamas has them, and the Borders in Gresham does too. You can see if they can order from those locations. Not sure if that is how it is done, but I know that if one Borders has them, then all of them are able to order them. btw, I just thought I would mention that I totaly regret not reading fruits basket long ago! It is really good!

We don't have a Borders down here in Medford. Barnes & Noble has a bunch of #1, and then it jumps to 16. Waldenbooks has #3 and up. And Suncoast no longer has Manga because of their Media Plays shutting down. So I'm gonna have to get it off of the net. I'll get it on my next Right Stuf purchase. Rommie

Not really. Waldens is owned by Borders. They order from the same place. Barnes and Noble is different. They kinda suck at ordering things. But if you want to still go for ordering online, I would go for amazon.com. They tend to sell books for really cheap. But I still think if you want really good quality assured, you should still try to order from Waldens. |

I now have 2-4 of Rurouni Kenshin. I never thought to look up higher on the shelves at Waldenbooks, and when I did, lo and behold #2 was up there. So in total I have 1-4 of Rurouni Kenshin. I also picked up Yotsuba&! #2 as well, because it was buy 3, get the 4th free, and they didn't have #5 of RK there.

I love that sale... I am taking advatage of the "buy 3, get the 4th free" sale at borders right now. So far, I bought 6 and got 2 free. (the ones I listed) but I took Suikoden and fullmetal alchamist back because I didn't like them near as much as fruits basket, so I exchanged them for 2 mor vols of FB! The onlky problem was they didn't have #4, so I got 5, and 6, and order 4. It should be there by sunday or monday. Sadly thouygh, I have 5 and 6 just sitting on my shelf waiting for me to read them! It is driving me nuts! |

omg, I am sooooo going to get all the fruits basket mangas today. YAY!!!! I already have 1-9, but today, I am catching up by buying all the rest of the vol. that are avaiilable taoday. I think that only up though 13 or 14 are being sold right now. I think the next one comes out in june. Man, I just love fruits basket.... Now if I can just catch up on the anime.....

My manga collection is seriously lacking. I've been thinking of picking up the Hellsing manga but it's quite a committment. But, how can I turn down a story about the Church of England fighting a bloody battle with the Roman Catholic Church, complete with an army of Nazy vampires?!

New additions to the Collection: Samurai Champloo Vol. 1 and 2 School Rumble Vol. 1 School Rumble is hilarious, and follows pretty much like the series. Which reminds me, I need to watch those episodes I have sooner or later........ Rommie

Alright, I now have fruits basket up through thirteen. Yays. I also picked back up on Alice 19th. I have 1-4 right now. Now if I can just get my hands on the 3rd and 4th Kingdom Hearts Manga.....
:rolleyes: I also neet to fill the gap in my Naruto collection. I have 1, 2, 8, 9, and 10. I have read everything in between thanks to shonen jump, but I still need to buy the mangas. Not number 1 on my list though. It might just have to wait....

My collection's kinda pitiful at the moment: Love Hina Vols. 1, 2, 12, 13, 14 and Ai Yori Aoshi Vols. 1, 2, 5 - 13 Generally, I don't buy manga because I wait to see if the anime is good first. Plus, don't like to be spoiled. ie: Death Note, read the manga before seeing the anime, and its not as interesting anymore since I know how it turns out. |

I just recently picked up 'Chibi Vampire' vol. 1, and really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the anime series 'Karin' to come out soon.
